Nothing will be added as the game orientation is correct. It is your screen that is the wrong way round.

Even if something was added to the emulator to rotate the image, it would be a botchy graphics driver patch (which you might aswell do yourself by using your driver interface options to rotate display). Anything else would not be correct emulation though.

If you want to play the arcade version, do it justice by at least rotating your screen. If you want the conveinient "play on your home TV" options, there are various home versions of the game that have very nice options designed for that specific purpose already ...including a dreamcast one. Any rotation hacks that could be bolted on to this emulator could not possibly be anywhere near as suitable as the console options which even adjust the gui placement to allow for yoko orientation.

Anyway, the whole point of playing the arcade version, is to play it as it was intended in the arcade. If your not going to do that, stick with the perfectly ported home versions.

Actually.... drkIIRazi could implement a screen rotation function for games that don't use the screen normally.

Hey hey, Don't despair. It might take time but I have faith, and it'll be great! :thumb:

Besides it's talk like that that might make an EMU author change their mind, hopefully not, but you never know.

there is a 1.04 >.> and im working to get my hands on it so i can nab the plugins from falcon and shuffle2

I've read on this forum that the autor had a new version ready on april the 1st. He did't release it. The main reason seemed to be other fast emulators.

What I do not understand is; this guy makes the best Dreamcast emulator ever. Everybody's waiting for it, he says he had a version ready, with controler support, but no release. That's a shame, it's like painting a masterpiece and burning it because someone else used as many colors.

I don't expect a new release. Hope is on other emulators. Too bad the best of them all was stopped before it had analog controller support.

Is it ready? No its not, otherwise it would already be here.
Its one thing for the developer to say its ready at one point, in the past, and for them to say it now. New bugs can spring up overnight, and other reasons could be that he wants to give users an entirely new experience when it comes to the apps performance.

It will be ready when its ready. Anyone who wants to continue to claim doom and destruction know's where the door is. they can walk out it and stop posting at any time.

Raziel, actually said he was busy with other things. I am sure he stated the following; Other emulators are as good with good processors nowadays, so there was no challenge when it comes to speed. A false release was planned on april the 1st, with a real one on the next day. The whole post didn't sound like a new release coming. He made it clear that he has lost most of his motivation for the project.

I don't blame him. Not happy with it, but then again it's his project. The work he has done is great.

Playing on my real dreamcast with a friend right now. Daytona 2009.

Oh.... Your ready when ready cliché.... does it make it any sense?

Well, he stated those things himself. Any proof on your end it is nonsense? i mean if the guy said so himself, who are you to say otherwise? :???:

However, nullDC is not dead.Most of these conditions existed after the first release and there were 3 more releases after it (and more will hopefully folow).

You can expect a new nullDC version fairly soon, but i'd like to release 1.0.4 at the same time as the first psp version (so that puts it a few months away).Hopefully by then the pandora will be finally shipped so i'l also have an extra toy to keep me happy and inspired ....Oh, and i suck at making websites -- i always leave em half finished for ever :p

when you've been working on a project for so long, motivation to actually work on it comes on in bursts at random intervals.

Taken that he is currently investigating a rewrite of the ARM7, he might just get into the zone again.

im like that when doing my oblivion mods -.- at times i lack insperation then for some reason.. zoom! im working on it like a mad bunny.

to other people : i'll be done when its done.. stop complaining/moaning, dark will do it/release it when he's ready..

go outside... enjoy reality... get a girlfriend... etc.etc.. it could be alot worse.. look at pj64 and its status :(
