i have dead space and i dont have come so far in this game yet but it is a confufsed game and its more like cold fear i think its the right game. there you start outside a boat and ita awsome but if you are going to shoot a enamy then its hard becase you dont have a the same thing at doom 3 when you aim where to shoot

why HL 2 did was sacry for me that was a eneamy that hang form the celling and its looks like a rope but its not a rope its a eneamy thats whats to crap you upp and kill you

Want something Scary??

DEAD SPACE
Totally not scary. It suffered from Doom 3 syndrome. Where everytime something was about to jump out at you, it gave you tons of prior warning with music changes, lights going dim, etc.

You want something truly ****ed up and scary?
Penumbra: Overture.

i have that game and thats wery scary and its fun too play

i have the collection of that game

Fear 1 is pretty scary , Fear 2 is just down right crazy but with the lights out in HD you'll be freaked out at least once to twice I think it's something about the lil girl screaming then turning into pure evil..

How about FEAR? Did others find it scary?

I didn't really find FEAR that scary at all. The only games that invoked any sensation of tension or being scared are from the Silent Hill franchise and the Condemmed franchise (condemmed 2 is awesome, just started playing it and it is incredible how tense it is)

especially,Silent Hill one,I've played & Finished All SH series, the most scary is SH 1,Man,the music is just enough to scary you, lol.
as well as Re1(Well,i was 12/13).

and frankly,FPS Horror games, don't scary me at all,I find Third Person View/Single-player disturbing a little bit.

is there any one that has played cold fear? i like this game but when you are going to shoot them its hard to know where you hit them becase you only have a small red dot that i hate so much. did not play it t finish it becase of that

is there any way to improve performance on RE4 at all? i'm running euro version, patch 1.1.0 on:
1.6ghz AMD Sempron 2800+
1GB DDR2 ram
Geforce FX5200LE
Windows XP Pro SP3
it's very choppy and even when i disable AA and AF in the NVidia control panel, it makes no difference.

It wasn't as scary as it could've been. Breaking the game randomly to have you fight supersoldiers then put you in some dark hallway then supersoldiers kind of broke the scary toll.

When your adrenaline went up playing the game while fighting the soldiers, getting scared in a hallway didn't really happen. I just ran through the whole game looking for more soldiers to kill. I thought that was what I was supposed to be doing... killing things until the end of the game. >.>

You might consider a new PC in your future.

Funny you mention that; the Quake 2 engine started doing that to me after playing the sin that was SiN. My god that game was garbage.

Yeah, its sucks the big one hey!:(:( (Motion sickness I mean! I can't judge a game I have never played)
