Now I can roam freely the world at the end of Disc 2, so I went to the Lighthouse and found Big Joe had open up a shop with the best things afforded.

And the gears engine he sold is great, but the fuel was too little.
Example - OMEGA100, 100 output, but 1000 fuel. The most fuel is only 2100 fuel, but with a 80 output that is.

So, engine output and fuel, which do you prefer?

I'd choose a good engine with lotsa fuel. When fighting one of the 4 subbosses in Deus, you'll gonna need a lot of it.

theres something sold there in JOE that makes you charge 500 fuel

and then use the OMEGA100...

It depends... I gave the Omega100's to my power gears (Rico and Maria) to use against parts of Deus... they only fought for a short time, so alot of fuel wasn't a necessity. For the gears that I used all the time, I usually went with the 80/2100 engine.

You're better off picking one with better fuel. There's very little difference in the engine output for an engine that comes with ridiculously little fuel. You'll be charging all the time if you go with Joe's "best" engine output.

Yup, I went for the 70/8000 engine with a equipment which boost your engine output by 50% plus a speed shoes... And I did kick some butts out of Deus.

deus is really easy to beat just keep charging then let him do his move until he loses upto 5000 hp...

use system ID then hit him what you got

I think you got me wrong, the first encounter with Deus needs luck to defeat him, for the ePSXe tends to crash when he attacks. But it is easy because I just keep charging and healing while he keeps on halving my HP. I just simply attack once and the battle is over.

What I refering to is the last battle with Deus, although it is not very hard to win him (At least easier than Opiomorph.).

well for the first question......if you have HP DRIVE 50 equipped,...it will charge more than 2500 fuel for healing 50% of your gears during battle,...which is obviously more than the 1000 fule limit in Joe's engines.

This is what you can do:

either equip a low HP DRIVE which consumes less than 1000 fuel and use it with the powerful engine,..or use a 70 output/8000 fuel engine with a high HP DRIVE accessory

I got really plastered by Deus so many times. The LONGEST battle was tied with the most powerful subboss and the fule draining boss.

Guess I should've spent more time training.

By the way, is there a way to exit right before you fight Deus and return back to the exact same spot? It took me a long time to get to that point (running away from the angels mostly) and when I get there, I see a way to get out but I have to repeat the entire thing to go back.

Hm... the high HP Drive thingy... I use only HP Drive 30 :emb:. Anyway, defeating Deus is easy if you have defeated his four orbs first.

equip a GRN003 ( or whatever its called) to your gears and watch fei and the other do a 9999 damage to Dues . that piece adds 30% more attack power

No, I equip the 50% one. Xenogears and Crescens kick ass out of deus quite easily.
