I live in Tampa Bay, Florida and I currently use TimeWarner's RoadRunner Cable Internet Service Provider. However, my cable sucks because cable is supposedly be on forr 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. But my cable seems to turn off and not connect once every week or 2. This has been making me mad since I've called the cable techinicans and they always come but the problem never gets solved. Its been happening for 7 months now. So now Im thinking of changing my ISP to some other cable company. Do you guys have any suggestions or awesome links to compare the cable providers in my area because there are so many. But also, who is your cable and/or DSL provider and how have they been treating you? Thanks! :)

BT. That's about all I can get here

I have Shaw Cable. Like Lord Kane, that's all I can get here, but they are pretty good. High speed, and not much crap to put up with. If your service is disconnected for any reason (Usually screwing with my computer pieces), just call them up and they fix it for you.

Got Verizon ADSL... And only disconnecting once every week or two doesn't sound all that bad. The service here seems to have stabilized but not too long ago the dsl modem would 'reboot' almost every time the phone rang. Gave me one more reason to hate telemarketers.

I live in Toronto, Ontario in Canada and I have Rogers cable, for both TV and internet. Rogers was good several years ago but lately they've been kinda slow. My maximum upload bandwidth is 25 kbps now, when it used to be 50 kbps only a year ago.

My ISP is a joke! It's called 'Wananchi', which means 'Friends' in Swahili......yeah, very friendly.........downloading at 3.50KB/S.....tops.....not only that, but i'm charged for every minute for the use of the phone line, that's why you guys who have fast rates, but might pay per minute ,or not, are lucky bastards......man, the NET in KENYA SUCKS ASS!!!!!!!!

You live in Edmonton? My experience over the past 2 years with Shaw Cable Internet has been awesome. Hardly ever get any slowdowns.
