no one knows!

i personally think that that motion capturing and 3d environment capturing combined together, will create a movie like game.

i could really imagine that two sphere like cameras (representing our eyes) would record some environment may it be a studio or a real environment, and that they would go through that whole 3d environment to capture every micron (or maybe larger) of i (i hope u get the picture).

then this video information would be combined with some sort of advanced motion capturing (that would capture the motion of these real images).

i dont know really maybe something like this, i mean quantum mechanics still does not give any useful results on the information that lite has when it bounces of objects (holograms), so i think that the above described method would be the closesed one to implement.

what do you think??

Hum...I smell a huge bin potential...
PS4? a real multimedia console: Making coffee, donuts,babysitting....(oO?).Who knows?
PS3 hasn't reveal its full potential yet. And with the current PS3 way to go....I don't think Sony will think about before a long time.
Anyway what the PS4 will do? Better (pre)processors for Better graphics for sure...which also means better A.I, better blah blah blah...And better explosive price surely...

PS4 will be much smaller and lighter than PS3, why? Simple, because it'll be using technology from 9-10 years from now (or maybe even shorter!) and probably much faster than today processor (Intel Core 2 duo/quad) in terms of speed. Also, the cpu would be built on 32nm or 22nm technology, heck maybe even smaller than.

PS4 is a virtual reality server. :p And it's not going to be liter than the PS3...
Fact:

The orginal fat PS2 is bigger than the original fat PS1
The original fat PS3 is bigger than the fat PS2...

=> Original fat PS4 will most likely be bigger than the PS3. ;)

lol If Wii doesn't get anything soon, there will be no Wii in my household quite soon.

*cough*Off-topic... but seriously, Sony is not doing that bad. They just have this weird habit of screwing up at the launch of their console... and then come out winning in the end. Well, guess that's the tradition. :p

Oh yeah, and I wonder if it can translate brain waves into rendered visuals... I can see how the pr0n industry will be killed off by that... and how much money Sony will make if that is the case... :p

Meh, a beer opener would be more useful, but then again, a real man can open a bottle of beer with any random tool.

Wii and X360 will win current generation, PS3 will only sell as a cheap bluray player and will have absolutely no exclusives. Developement on the PS4 will be halted due to immense losses and Sony moves out of the gaming department. Sega (backed up by Sammy) makes a surprise comeback with neogeo-style arcade-to-home console technology and dominates the japanese market but is not released outside Japan, ever. In a desperate gamble to keep the X360 selling in Japan, Microsoft goes into a deal with Sega and they work out native cross-compatibility between each others machines. Nintendo on the other hand gains a stronger then ever lineup due to Yu Suzuki jumping ship because of the mistreat he recieved from Sega. 2012 will see an SSBM game with Virtua Fighter characters and the Outrun Ferrari Testarossa, while Sega Xbox 360 gains a record-breaking killer app in the form of Fighters Megamix 2 starring Master Chief alongside characters from a newly resurrected Streets of Rage franchise. Sonic games will still suck, Sonic Team goes out of business and newly reformed Compile Soft. regains the Puyo Puyo license, and launches a new, epic Madou Monogatari RPG that shadows like a giant over anything Square Enix made in the past decade. In the meanwhile, the full Radiant Silvergun trilogy is up for grabs on Xbox Live Arcade and takes the crown place of "most often played game" from Halo 3. This in turn starts an avalanche of old-school but seriously well made retro style games; Gradius 7 goes on to be the best selling game of the year - worst selling being Mario Party 15.

I will never know for sure, but some ideas I readed here are very good/impossible ;)
Sony can't even make a real motion sensor's controller, "translate brain waves into rendered visuals"?! oO No way...

Actually, the motion sensor was the Eyetoy. :p If you really want to know the ugly truth, the Wiimote with its sensor strip is like the SIXAXIS with a cheap Eyetoy that can't capture pictures.
