When I switch the resolution to 32-bit it says it doesn't support
the resolution.I really want to play in 32-bit mode but the
maximum of my computer is only 24-bit.Is there a way
I could do something or download something to make my
computer's maximum resolution 32-bit.Thanks

I think that he`s using old VooDoo card
(it has only 24bit color deep)....

... buying new card isn`t good option
when he has got slow machine e.g. 300/350
couse voodoo`s works much faster than TNT
on system like that... (N64 Emu works faster, too)
Try 2 play with 16bit color & switch all enchantments
4 16b color deep e.g. color dithering... in Pete`s D3D
or use LewpyGlide Plugin

if your card isn`t VooDoo - get new drivers 4 it
..

Right click on the desktop, go to properties, setiinmg, and it'll say XXX on something or othe monitor, or the other way round.

U can check all your hardware you have by:
- right click on MY COMPUTER icon
- select PROPERTISES
- selecting "HARDWARE MENAGER"

or
U can ge info about your CPU, memory & Graphic card
from DX Diagnostic tool - type dxdiag from run menu...
(menu Start>Run & type dxdiag <Enter> :))

most likely he is using an intel i740-based card, these are common cards found in alot of pentium III motherboards (Because they came intergrated on many i810, 815, 820 boards). The highest color depth supported is 24 bit...it was one of the few cards (besides an old s3 virge) that did that color depth.

anyways, you can find out what you have by right-clicking on the desktop choosing properties, and going to settings.

anyways, like I stated earlier, this isn't a driver issue but a hardware issue, getting new drivers will not get you higher color depth....that is impossible. If you want 32bit get a TNT-2 or better card they are going to be a hell of alot faster than any i740-based card. (hmm, bad graphic's card doesn't=slow processor like I said, there are plenty of fast p3 that used these cards, just get a better video card...a geforce 2MX is ~$30 USD nowadays)

(btw, voodoo3 did support 32bit color for desktop, but not for games :( )
