This has been happening with me for the time I first bought my computer, about 3 years ago, but recently it's been expecially bad. During any random time when I'm playing a game, it just totally freezes on me. And when I reboot after one of those, a big fat "CMOS checksum error" pops up, then I have to configure my BIOS all over again. I literally replaced everything in that computer, all that's left from my origional computer purchase is my processor, my motherboard, and my 40GB HD.
The only reason why I suspect that it's the processor's fault is that it only happens when I play 3D games or emulators. My guess is that the SSE optomizations the Duron is using is what caused the freezing problems, or it could be the internal cache....what does everyone else think it could be?
