No FSAA/AF again i suppose ?

i really dont use them myself . i consider them high end options .. aka if u get like 500 fps in your favorite game but it has jaggy textures etc .. perfect gfx never bothered me , maybe because i always had low fps :\

Nopes! Its a way of controlling my variables (ahh...the wonderful world of science). However, when I'm actually gaming, I turn on Quincunx (I think that's how you spell it :emb: ) and I notice no performance decrease at all. However, AF KILLS my card.

quincunx indeed has a very low performance hit; even a gf4mx pulls that off without problems.
I think I can run the game without noticeable slowdown on 2xfsaa (well, or quincunx) with anistrophics turned off or not at max at least... when you turn all those options to the max you get quite a performance hit; I like my graphics good, but a good speed is more important; I'm already happy that I can run games like this flying in 1024x768 with all the details turned on; wasnt exactly possible before I upgraded.
Anyway, I myself also see them as fancy extra's; if it doesnt bother the performance, I can as well turn em on, but with recent games you're gonna notice it anyway if you do.

LOL, that's one of the better CHEATS I have seen, or decent Photoshopping. BTW, dukenukem, the 9700 has no hope in hell at getting that kind of score, without some kinda of CHEAT. It wont be anytime soon that a card gets that kind of score in UT2K3 without CHEATING.

He prolly's edited the benchmark's settings in the INI files , and put everything on lowest res and detail . then 260fps seems easy .. ?
