Does anyone know if you need to buy UT2003 for linux seperatly or is there an installer for the win version of the game, like in UT.

 

The Linux installer is included.

 

I think this thread is located in the screenshots forum so far I have only seen 1 screenshot and it's from the installer not from inside the game so if someone has screenies from inside the linux version I would apriciate it, thats the subject of this thread isn't it?

 

I'm also as eager to see some action of UT2003 on Linux as much as campi, so anyone who has UT2003 on Linux, show some screenshots!

Not sure whether it's better than in Win or not. But the qualiity is same in my Linux.

Seems the antiliasing function in Linux is not as good as Win. I think it's because of the driver, Linux's driver is new and really unstable.

 

Looks like it could also use Anisotropic Filtering on those textures too.

 

Linux version of UT2k3 sometimes display glitches, as you can see one in the first shot. I'm waiting for patches of Linux version.

Those screenshots don't look as good as the windows version. Do you have max settings set in Unreal Tournament 2003?

 

Yes, I did. But the graphic is too bad compared to Win's. I think that's NVIDIA driver's fault.

 

i have ut2003 but didnt test it on linux yet
is the installer included in the cd or there is a different version for sale? i didnt find it on the cd

 

I think the installer should be included in one of those 3 cds , but I also think the win version looks better. Hope nvidia releases some new drivers for linux

 

The screenshots still look very good! Aren't there updated drivers for the nVidia series, cause there are for thje ATi Radeon series...
