No comment... aside from one wish: keep games exclusive...
No, I rather have a lack of exclusiveness... it got this stupid in the gaming world that fans of console A don't want their game to be released on console B.
Yes, it's true that an exclusively developed game will often have the edge in looks for that particular platform, but if it's done right multi-platform games aren't far behind. I think Burnout is a good example of how a game can be awesome and one of the best looking games on more than 1 platform.
Another example is Sega's Outrun 2. Sega themselves (AM2) only made 2 arcade versions based on XBox hardware. All the home versions (Outrun 2 on XBox and the multi-platform Outrun 2006) were handled by Sumo Digital who seem to be specialised in porting, and guess what? It worked. Same with Virtua Tennis 3.
..and sometimes it goes (partly wrong). Let's stay at Sega; Sonic Heroes. Developed on Renderware (easily portable) and originally for Gamecube, it was a breeze to port over to Xbox and even more so PC, but the PS2 version sucks because the PS2 was underpowered and they were too lazy to make optimisations. That can also happen.
Frankly, if GTA IV gets delayed but because of it ends up as a good game on both consoles, then there's nothing to worry about.....
