8ms you say , well mine is 4 so :p lol , j/k.
Played the demo , and i must say it sucks big time in the gameplay department.

Offtopic: refy how well dose the 165 go for you?
What speeds do you get in pcsx2?Is it limiting you in Oblivion?
Why did you take it down , if my mind serves me right wasn't it 2.9 in your sig?
Well to be fair, its actually running at 2.8 atm ;p it got too hot at 2.9, then i put it down to 2.6, then i got a new cooler (Thermalright Ultra-120) and now ive put it back up again. but it doesnt really help oblivion, multithreading sucks in that game. pcsx2 i get an AVG of 60fps in FFX and around 30-35fps in RE4.

I've heard it so much, but WHY does the gameplay suck so much then? What do the cars feel like?
the cars aren so bad, little hard at first but you get use to it, but the gameplay as a whole just isnt as immersive as games like NFS most wanted. The adrenaline rush is missing ;p

Because you're not told what to do? That's what I like about this one...
? this one has a GPS system telling you when to turn left n right, it kinda ruins the fact you are racing... if it was a rally game i could understand that.

not no its not just that, the racing itself just doesnt have the same excitement. and the races you start with are like doing a 100 meter sprint. (maybe not that short but you know what i mean)

Really? I found the adrenaline to be there, especially in races against human opponents. They're better than the AI... well most of them are ;)

The only thing I don't like is that all races seem to be with AAA cars, like the Enzo, and I can't stand those, they're way too overpowered and only nice on straight ends. I'd rather use classics or D-class cars and do races that require skill.

I've only raced random people online in the demo, however...

In my opinion this is the most exciting racing game there is. I've never been more pumped up to race someone online!

hm any ideas how i can force antialiasing when HDR is turned on?
i tried it over the nvidia control panel but that doesn't work.
you cant use HDR + AA on the 7x00 series or below, you need to use the 8800 series.

n before you say you can in HL2, valve know what they're doing, most other people rely on the drivers/card which they arent designed to do below the 8x00 series

oh, by the way, does anyone here have experience with Atari's customer service? It seems they don't like to answer questions... or do they always take more than 2 weeks?

lol, I think no service would wait so long with answer :innocent: ;)

If its one of those Ask a Question systems on a website then yeah its normal. Took me about 2 weeks too for Lineage II and Valve support, they use the same system.

Isn't this, the SM3 HDR, just taking the easy road for devvers? From what I've read it's more complicated to implement it using SM2 paths.

anyone else on ngemu playing the ps2 version, btw? would be fun to race against someone I know....my name in the game is Samor, just like here ;)

Finally popped in a different game in my PS2 today again, Sega Rally 2006... uh, TDU actually looks quite underwhelming compared to the high-end PS2 titles. ;)

:( Today my savegame got corrupted, I can still drive around in my cars, but all the statistics are messed up. Seeing how I value those, I have to start all over again.
