Getting this error under the output when trying to run an ISO. Problem is, if I mount the ISO in a virtual drive _I can see SYSTEM.CNF right there_

I've tried running it from a virtual drive with Peops, and from a cd image with Linuzappz and either way I'm getting this same error. I'll either get the BIOS management or the insert ps2 disc screen.

I'm having a hard time searching the forum because the function is too dumb to discern system.cnf from anything with the word system.

V1ncent gave you every possible solution, just fellow the links.
And you haven't even to search, for that fact.

Yeah, I'm _very slowly_ making headway..at least I hope I am. It's becoming more difficult to keep track of what I've done, I guess this is what happens when you attempt beta software.

Anyway, ran the file as an ELF. This involves file > open elf, then open all files and select SCES_504.90 off the disc that's currently mounted. Next it asks for another file, I'm really not clear what's going on at this point so I select IOPRP234.IMG off the disc because it's the only one that shows up.

Now everything _seems_ to check out in the console--no errors reported but all I'm getting is a black screen with no audio. Very perplexing...

Mount the img file instead of elf crappy thing, use daemon tool for that.

Well you have the iso file created from the disc and stored on your hard drive. Within there are several files, including the .90 and .img. That's the file I mean by 'off the disc'--meaning off the game disc.

Here's the output I'm receiving, as I said I don't notice any errors:
