Hey guys, i have a problem, at first i couldn't run my game, it was at about 50fps, then i got it running, but now it appears to be slowing down to 5-8fps, feels very odd since i got enough hardware.

x2 3800+
1024mb pc5400
x1650pro

Anyone knows about the problem ? Thanks.

- did you enable MTGS&DC and all recompilers in the CPU menu?
- did you install the Dualcore Hotfixes and Dualcore optimizer?

you can download the hotfix here: http://forums.ngemu.com/pcsx2-offic...m/pcsx2-official-forum/82729-new-directx-dual-core-hotfix-brings-more-speed.htm
and the optimizer here: http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/utilities/Setup.exe

but overclocking is the only thing you can do to get enjoyable speeds.
you can easily overclock your X2 to 2.6GHZ

btw: welcome to the forum

The hotfix link dosen't work, but i already got the optemizer, and this problem only occured after i "dno what i did" thingie, before it came to the loading screen with good fps, now it got awful FPS at the loading, and the "ISO-read" reads like 1 file/second.

I dont find it likley that my CPU is to slow.

Also when i enable the CPU menu stuff, the game crashes.

whats with your dvd drive? maybe some reading problems.
i have the same problem when the drive can't read the dvd exactly.
it slowed down and the CDVD read in the console goes down step by step.

you should try to create isos of the dvds to your hdd.

but delete the ISOs when you give the DVDs back otherwise it is illegal!!
