This is the first time this ever happened, when ever i put the sound on the games freeze. It happens with both GBA and NDS games

Are you sure you have the right settings

Try deleting the ini file in your no$gba folder.

You shouldn't fiddle much with the sound option during gameplay. It's still one of the most error-prone options.
