i looked through the search results, mostly useless.

I'm playing Advance wars: Days of ruin, and the game runs great right up to the game play itself, then it slows right down to almost nothing. so i was wondering if anyone else has had this kind of problem and how they fixed it.

My computer: AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core 4200+ 2.21GHz, 2GB ram, NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS

Which version of the emu are you using? Also, have you try using the suggestions in the sticky FAQ thread?

It can't be fixed. At this stage of no$gba's emulation the game lags quite heavily, even on my system which is a lot better than yours.

Try Desmume or Ideas, because this slowdown is not fixed.
Pd: Suggestion: Don't play much time in NO$GBA.

thanks guys, it does handle dual strike pretty well, so i'm still using it for that.
can anyone tell me for a fact that days of ruin runs well on any other emus', or are those just suggestions??

None of them run it perfect but on my system at least DeSmuME runs it the best.

Yeah I would say so, heck I already consider the laggy way no$gba runs it to be playable, annoying sure, but playable.
