Hi,

I'm using Visualboy Advance to play some old games that no longer work on my gameboy (pokemon red:lol:).

I've used it previously, and I always loved the 'Speed' function to speed things up a bit (pokemon games can be a little boring if you have to walk long distances or listen to long monologes!).
However, it seems my current computer is a bit too fast... If I press the Speed button, it goes up to around 6000% which is MUCH too fast to be playable. If I try to enter a staircase it just goes up/down/up/down/up/down about 500 times in a second, it's that fast lol.

Can I somehow set a maximum speed, say 400% or 500%, that the emulator runs at when I press the Speed button?

Note: the game plays fine if I don't touch the speed button (at 100%) but as I said, I want to speed it up sometimes, but 6000% is simply too much!

Thanks.

Hm that's too bad. Are people still working on VBA? If so, do you expect this to be added in the future?

In the mean-time, is there nothing I can do? I've noticed there's a lot you can do to speed up the emulator (turn off sound sync or something for example), can't I do those things in reverse to slow it down a bit?

If all else fails I suppose I could just run 15 games in the background, see how that works:eyemove:
