System specifications along with the type/version of operating system you are using would be helpful.

What build of Dolphin are you trying with the 32-bit or 64-bit version. Have you tried the latest SVN revisions? I and many others are hosting compiles of SVN Revisions of Dolphin.

trying to use dolphin r366 x86. from xtemulation.

vista 32 bit, intel core 2 duo t5550 (1,83Ghz) , 3gb DDR3 Ram, intel graphics <-- therefore using dolphin direct9x , latest direct x (august)

strange thing is that older rev like r126 or r235 are running perfectly.
just the latest ones are giving me a hard time

I'm willing to bet the intel graphics are causing a bit of an issue. Some things have been fixed since earlier revisions that might not cope well with intel graphics.

I think I remember a thread about issues with the Intel graphics accelerators and Dolphin.

I and others are using Dolphin without any issues whatsoever, since your CPU and memory are decent enough for Dolphin I am placing my bet it's your Intel graphics that are the source of your issues.

so does it mean all intel users won't be able to use new revisions ?

some new changes in the source might have caused that issue.

do you think if there is someway to inform the developers about this issue ?

well, it's a laptop ... if i am going to change my mainboard, i could buy a new laptop.

and onboard graphic doesn't ALWAYS cause problems, because it worked fine with old revisions.

damn ... hope this issue will be gone, otherwise i wouldn't be able to enjoy the developers great work ..

updated the Runtime files? download the latest redists.

I have the same problem like you Shadowspsp , the problem is from the new sound plugin . Before the latest version , i could use older sound plugin and don't have error , but now , you can't use older plugin on rev 380 or higher and we have this Runtime error . I tell this problem on issues on dolphin issues thread , but no solution for now. . .

sorry

Dude, Intel graphics cards suck, like they do not support Pixel Shader 2, they are cheap and simple graphic cards. You need an NVIDIA card for good workng gfx in Dolphin. I have seen Dolphin run on Intel Graphics card, and the graphics were all white because the lack of PS 2.0. So you need a new video card in order to run Dolphin with working gfx. Sorry.

...Please figure out what you're talking about, or at least read the Wikipedia article first.
