Dear friends anyone know that how can i change my resident evil remake disc 1 to disc 2 ?

Save in the dining room before the final battle with Lisa Trevor and exit the game. Restart the game using disc 2 and load the dining room save. You should not get the change disc message when you descend the elevator to the Lab area.

To get more speed, you can go to your plugin of choice options dialog, and check "perfect speed" (it´s next to "0 graphic flaws").
seriously, speed is wysiwyg... give dolphin time :D

Or download "Magic Game Cube Emulator":p

Talking seriously the emu isn´t complete yet so the speed may be differen depending on the game you are trying.

I tried it myself recently and my solution doesn't work anymore, Something must have changed back in rev 6XX when change disc was implemented for some other games. Sorry.
i tried it, but the actual save game files don't work with old svn

Can't one simply just do a disc change in r657, then save to a memory card immediately on Disc 2? I'm assuming a memory card save from Disc 2 could then be used on r1007? Also, for anyone who had changed discs successfully, have you been able to finish the game? Thanks!

it would be nice that team dolphin implement a good disc change method to the emulator like other emulators like epsxe

I'm about to start playing this game and I don't wanna encounter any disk change problems. When you say save game in dining room, do you mean create a save state, or is there some way to emulate a memory card that you can save to?

I'm using SVN 1164 x64.

Thanks :)

EDIT: I think I've just answered my own question, when given the option to format the card at the beginning of the game I selected yes and it worked! I was unaware that it was possible to use in-game saving. w00t, can't wait to play this game.

Sorry, but you're going to be disappointed. The method I described before worked back in SVN 64X. I tested it last week with SVN 1XXX and it doesn't work anymore either with a savestate or with a memory card save.

Well, I decided against it in the end because it crashed after 10 minutes of play.

I think I'll wait a few months and give Dolphin some time to mature before I try again.

well a good new for you who play PC remake 2011

I found the way to swich disc 2, very simple, just follow my step
- at switching disc requirement screen, press alt+tab and choose dolphin window
- at dolphin window, press alt and down arrow key, or alt+F to open File menu
- but there're not any word on menu, dont worry choose the second row
- there's a open windows appear, let's choose R1B.iso at C>resident evil remake

have fun :D

If people like older revisions of dolphin or just have isses swapping disc. I have idea, why not use save state on the swap disc screen then exit and load disc 2 and load save state and continue.
