31. How do I apply cheats in no$gba?

...
Before using any cheat codes, you have to make sure that the codes are the same region as your game; otherwise, if you input any cheat codes that are different region, the code(s) might not work, but if it does work, it might give you some glitches.

To enter cheat codes, either go to Utility>Cheats or press F2 on your keyboard.

Codebreaker codes usually requires a Master(Enable) Code for all the other codes to work; however, some codes might not require an Enable Code to work. After you enter the Enable Code, you will see [E] right next to the code.

Unlike Codebreaker codes, Action Replay codes does not require any Enable Code.

After you enter the code(s) that you wanted, you will see a box [ ] right next to the code(s) that you enter. Simply double click the code(s) and a check mark will appear inside the box, which means the code(s) is on.

Whenever you see a box with a question mark inside it [?], it means one of the following:
1) The code(s) that you enter contains some wrong value.
2) The code(s) might have been a different region than your game.
3) You didn't input the Enable Code (only applies to Codebreaker codes)

I might have missed some things, but that's all I can think of right now.

Edit: Forgot to said good job Schumi. :thumb:

okay, well i guess it just can't work for my computer, the drop down box still remains 'grayed out.' maybe i will just avoid games that need the mic.
Have you try opening a wav, mp3, or whatever format file in audacity? Also, have you try different version of audacity? You can also try updating your sound card driver.

i did find out plugging an old speaker into my microphone jack actually picks up sound when i blow into it, according to my control panel. is it possible to use this as a mic for the emulator?
If your speaker is able to pick up sound, I guess it should work as a mic in the emu.

nvm, dont know what i was seeing there, seems to not work as far as i can tell.
Also, forgot to ask this in my previous posts, but which game have you tested it on (some games have some mic issue even with a working mic)?

i've got the newest version, and tried all of the other stuff just now, no good still.

but i might have gotten somewhere, now i have 'Stereo Mix (Realtek high defini..' enabled and selected as recording in the Audio I/O tab. This is something I didn't realize was disabled in my control panel, do you think this will help? That selection box is still greyed out though.
Did you enable the microphone input (if you need help in enabling the input, I suggest you go check this site)? If that doesn't work, then try a different version of audacity.

I don't use Vista, so I can't help you much there. You can try increasing the microphone's volume and see if that works or not.

As for other games that uses the mic function immediately, I can only think of one of the minigames in Final Fantasy Fables Chocobo Tales that uses the mic function. There might be other games, but that's all I can think of right now.

ok i dont know if i missed the point or not but when i play pokemon platinum/diamond/pearl on no$gba, it the menu wont come up when i press enter. i tried to see if i assigned the right key for start and it said it was enter, but the menu still wouldnt open up. help me T.T im new..
You pressed the wrong button. The correct button is X, not Start.

okay - quick question .
i`m not sure if i missed this in the questions or not , i was just skipping around to find questions about saves .

but , how is it you save for DS games if you don`t snapshot them ? or can you ? o:

or would you just save ingame like normal , and when you load the cartridge , it shows your saved game like a normal ds ?

thanks . (;
If you actually use the search function in this thread, or at least try using your internet browser on the first page, then you should know that snapshot only works for gba games currently. This means that you will have to use the in-game save function to save your game.

That's right, just like a normal DS. AFAIK, snapshots (or save states) don't work with No$GBA.
You should read/skim this FAQ thread (again?). >_>

I noticed that the Evolution Editor is stated to work for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, but does it work for Platinum, as well?
No

If not, is there a way or any plans to making it compatible with Platinum?
You have to either wait for someone to create a new evolution editor or just use pokesav to edit your save.

Is it possible to trade between versions right now using No$GBA, or do the games not link successfully? (I have been trying and have failed, but if there is a way to get it to work I would be quite interested in learning it.)
No, it is not possible to link. None of the current ds emus can link ds games right now either. To get the evolved form of those pokemon, you will have to use pokesav to edit your save file.

Need help. I've check the compatibility ROM and it says Harvest Moon DS is already compatible. Well mine actually Harvest Moon Sunshine Island.
Whenever i tried to Load Game or New Game it says "can't locate data, turn Off and reload the cartridge"
It means you didn't set the correct save type. You just need to read how to set the correct save type in the sticky FAQ thread. Afterwards, save the settings, and reload (not reset) the game, or restart the emu.

Can i ask? Im playing Kingdom Hearts 365/2 days and i can't play right because it's very sloooooww..

There isn't much you can do other than to upgrade your computer.
