Anyone on these boards downloaded this yet? A lot of my friends have it and I've heard good things but I want your opinions.

Ryos and Enigma are avid players according to them is preety cool, so if u have a fast connection u don't lose anything in trying

I play about twice a week, it gets very repetitive though. My friend has been playing it nonstop for the past month and it drives me up the wall because he talks about the damn game repeatedly. Oh well, my highest character is a 35/28? swordsman and it's not going anywhere fast.

more like uo, its an orpg, online role playing game, i played it since january but in march i got really bored of it, i gave my items to ryos, and my account to kronic, since i didnt wanna see em go to waste... i had a lvl 27 (or 32, cant remember which) swordsman in there but the lag and bs players made the experience horrendous so i didnt go back even after the 2nd server implementation

ro=lag+lamers. that is my opinion ro was good but now it is full of lamers. gravity the company who makes ro doesn't do much about it's problem. the lag doesn't bother me it is a free beta but the hacking is bad and they know how to fix but they don't.

It's a fairly decent game, but there are a ton of problems on the player side (especially the bots). Personally, I'm more interested in Shining Lore at the moment. The RO beta is free and will be until at least some of the many bugs are eliminated. It'll then be some kind of pay per monthly thing, assuming they even decide to release it outside of Japan/Korea. It's an online MMORPG, kind of like UO.

sl is looking good and it will be a semi open beta some it should have a better comunity.

Nah, it looks like it's going to have a kind of closed beta like Diablo at least for now, but it'll be more controlled than that is. If nothing else, at least this company doesn't post Engrish announcements like RO does.

i have cable, and this game had about a 5 second delay before i could take a step when i stopped playing it

it is better now depending on where you are and if you are on chaos or loki.
