Hmm, have you tried upgrading to 1.6.0? Or tried a different emulator like PSXeven, SSSPSX, or PCSX?

The only other emulators that don't require a BIOS is the HLE version of AdriPSX and VGS/Bleem, but they are way outdated. Here's a good thread with BIOS info. Use your intuition

Anyway, I strongly suggest using a different emulator. PCSX is good (and I use it for some games) but other emulators have been through more development and are more refined, especially ePSXe, PSXeven, and pSX.

On a side note, it's 'BIOS' not 'BIOs'. A very minor thing, I just had to point it out

Careful with AdriPSX though, it doesn't support proper memory card saves and thus you can't transfer saves to another emulator or change discs.

And did you read the link I posted? In that case you can use ePSXe or PSXeven or whatever emulator you want
