you do know you have to go into the pad config and map the buttons before using it, as well as having it set to "digital/analog" in the top right hand corner of the menu, right? dx10 and your game image should be irrelevent here, although if you want to be super-sure you can attempt to run it from the disk and see if there is any difference although i highly doubt there would be.
