Another reason we dont suggest people use the site is that they host warez like the WinDS suite that includes both No$GBA 2.6a and the NDS Bios and firmware. We dont support downloading either unless you get the first from Martians website and the second from your own NDS. Similar in their crappy cutie stuff for PCSX2 which is not supported on the main PCSX2 forums.

So you provide a proof from a bunch of people whore are paranoid and scared of downloading anything from the internet. These are the same guys that goes insane after finding a false positive. To be honest, I wouldn't have said anything if I had found a hit on virustotal, ever.
Also, I'd rather stay here, wish you were banned again though.

unlike you, I have the facilities at my disposal to tear apart a suspicious file and determine what its damage capabilities actually are.

the trojans mentioned there are only a handful of what have actually been reported and verified as legitimate threads.

Then there is

which is also a legitimate concern with the site.

I don't have any way to check their stuff for suspicious files like Squall might have but because they host WinDS Pro (which bundles files that are illegal to distribute and thus breaks our warez rule) I'm going to disallow linking to that site from now on and have removed the link. Do NOT link to that site again.

If you want to link to something then link to the source code and if you know how then supply instructions on how to compile it as well.

The "freaking java" emulator has FAR greater speed and compatibility than efforts using other languages. Language whoring doesnt get us anywhere

Would love to have PCSX2 and Dolphin coded in java, because you know, java is sooooo gooood for emulators.

My god, please, flame wars ( or starting ones ) about coding and coding choices out. We have another PSP emulator growing, this is a very good news. Does someone have a *safe* link to forums or site about this emu ?

Doesn't matter. PCSP is still much faster than JPCSP ever will be. Not surprising when you have VM in another VM

Have fun playing demos at lightning speed :???:

Well, Dolphin wouldn't be what it is today if it weren't open source. Heck, it would end up like Mupen64 and would exclusively use a CLI. We all know how well CLI emulators are liked.

Yeah well if they actually focused on it, it could be better than JPCSP in every way. Also JPCSP's bigger compatibility is useless anyway when all games run awful, because noone can make their own plugins etc.

Uhh, if jpcsp was made in another programing language from the beginning it would be a lot faster than this java crap.

With java you sacrifice speed for portability, which is dumb for emulators imho.

Umm it was confirmed even when another language was used it just got a very minor speed boost, it was like 5 fps at best.... I agree anything gaming with java is cruddy and slow but that is usually with cheap unoptimized code...

JCPSP is different, at first it wasnt portable, it was made for and optimized for windows then later people complained about the lack of portability and then he added the code for linux and macosx....

Anyways it is easy to assume this but the real reason no other psp emulator was made on another languange was that any basic attempt offered the same speed and it wasnt worth coding a whole new emulator if this was the case...

Also this emu is another emu that hey lets use the existing code and port it to android and/or ios, get noticed because it is a system people want to be emulated, charge people for it and then realise it isnt possible to get full speed or compatibility and screw the people who have paid and discontinue it.

And when was this confirmed? it was probably at the beginning of jpcsp, by now they would find new ways to optimize the code to give more than 5 fps if it was coded in another language.

This is not rocket science, just imagine Dolphin coded in java from the very beginning, it would have been dog-slow even now compared to the current Dolphin.
