For whatever reason, my Pokemon Platinum ROM doesn't let me access the start menu. I've tried reassigning "Start" to various different buttons and it hasn't made a difference. Any suggestions?

i would be interested in seeing the documentation or advice that led you to try pressing start for this.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean? I'm trying to open the menu that would correspond to pressing the "start" button on a normal DS. The start button was initially mapped to the enter key, and I switched it to several other keys to make sure that that wasn't the problem.

i suggest you check your assumptions on a normal DS
