Works, saves and loads with No$GBA 2.6a, No$Zoomer 2.3.0.2 with PS0 Extra option enabled and firmware.

No he meant the Phantasy Star Zero ex option which basically EX0 to 2 activated, I reckon.
Anyway this game best played with opengl renderer, I've got very bad skipping with nocash renderer just to let others know (or if it's only me >.<)

on a side note, this game have zero problem with desmume as far as I've played. :thumb:

My results after playing PZ0
No$gba 2.6a + latest no$zoomer(Squall Leonhart version):
For the jap version
1)izukon's method works without the anti-piracy code.
2)With or without the anti-piracy code on, I cannot save.
3)Flash512 seems to be the incorrect save type.
Reason: when i fought until the final stage (I keep saving) when I have to defeat 4 bosses and they came up an option to ask me whether i want to save. And I saw the message "Saving failed".
4) With no$zoomer + izukon's method, i bypass the glitch by using EX2 (2-3 attempts) for no reason 0_0.

for the english version
1)I just got word they mess up the dump. so lucky ones who got them, might or might got pass the anti-piracy code and glitch.
2)I kinda try it like 15-20 attempts before knowing about the former and one of the attempts i bypassed the glitch for no reason with no$zoomer (Without EX1 on).
3) With the no$zoomer, i still got errors (Even with EX1 on).

A sidenote, my no$gba changed from 167kb to 168kb for no reason 0_0

ideas:
1)I got past the glitch with it but the anti-piracy code in it prevents me from fighting bosses. Pretty cool huh.
Reason: Once you got the card key and enter any next area. there should be an event which your companion should be speaking to you and after completing all the areas, it will show in the map screen (click on the map) there's another entrance you have not enter.
if it didn't show up, you should know what's going on.
2)Surprisingly, I can save the game 0_0 but you need the debugger to debug it once or twice.
3)Save-type seems to be Eeprom 64kbit.

desmume (includes other 2):
I keep getting send back to the start screen.....

It seems to require firmware, though it might work if you put an empty firmware.bin file into the No$ folder.

Haven't played the game too long, I must admit, but since you keep the levels, I guess it is meant to be that way.

Thanks Smiley, I also have another question, when you save the game after you are in a quest like in a area and close the emulator and turn it back on you are back at the city where you started the game, is that suppose to happen? You still keep all your levels you gain during battle.
If you mean saving mid-quest and then quit your game, then the answer is yes. You do not save your quest progress but you do keep what you get on that particular quest.
