I can see that you like Bokeh and spacey colors.

Coincidentally, my next posting (if any) will likely be of the 1280 x 1024 flavor. My "new" monitor for my old PC, which is what I'll be trading down to for the foreseeable future, uses that resolution.

 

Damn it, a little mistranslation her, it's "Fabryka Słów" not "Fabryka Snów", which basically means "Factory of Words" and is the name of the publisher.

Oh yeah, this thread, almost completely forgotten about it. Winter's pretty much here so it was time for a change for me as well.

 

I reinstalled Windows to give it a fresh start and remove some of the bloatware and clutter and just grabbed this to replace the stock OEM one (as well as the log-in screen since I'm not a big fan of the stock Windows 7 one). It's not my PC, so nor am I the only user of it, hence the relative simplicity and the personalization being low.

 

Now the problem is that I'm not sure where I want it more...I quite like it up there...but I don't want to get used to it since then using other systems with more conventional placement will feel weird instead....

I'll probably move it down again...tomorrow...or next week...

 

By the way I have to say after 2 weeks now I also quite like having the taskbar at the top. Probably going to keep it like this in fact.

 

I keep trying to find my browser tabs on the taskbar since I put it up there. Only then do I remember the tabs are a bit further down.

 

Thats really nice looking but the all rights reserved thing ruins it a bit.

 

Considering how much you like using the Taskbar at the top I guess I need to try it as well.

Not sure what happened. I used the Win7 snipping tool to make it then uploaded it to postimage.org (made sure that it was set to NOT resize).

Well you often pick nature ones so that means your wallpaper often has lots of green so green so the colours for the sidebar need to contrast that so it's properly readable or you need to use different wallpapers. Because green on green as in that shot is just plain silly.
