PCSX2 Crashes When Loading BIOS

I am running Windows Vista Premium 32-bit and whenever I load my PS2 BIOS (SCPH39001.BIN), I get an error message saying the program has encountered an error and needs to close. I'm guessing this is probably Vista being retarded but does anyone know of a setting or something that I can change that will make this work? I haven't touched any of the settings for any of the plug-ins if that helps.

I have been waiting to try this for so long now and now that I actually have a computer more than capable of running this emulator it won't do it! By the way if it also helps my computer specs are: AMD Athlon LIVE 5000+ X2 2.6Ghz, 2GB RAM @ 800MHz, (I don't think HDD matters), and a brand new 512MB DDR3 nVidia GeForce 9600GT graphics card.

I appreciate any help! Thanks!

EDIT: Here's a screenshot of the crash (Sry I quickly saved it with paint so the quality isn't that great.): http://img216.imageshack.us/my.php?image=86909706lt5.jpg

By doing that you're trying to run the bios as an image and that wrong.Place your bios inside the bios directory and run the emu,go to Config=>Configure=>and if the bios don't show up point where is the directory where the bios is.

If you're trying to run the bios to configure/format/delete saves from your memory card select for CDVD plugin=>CDVD null and use Run=>Execute or File=>Run CD\DVD

Thank you! I got the bios setup correctly now but when I go to run the game from the disc drive it won't work. I hit run and then CD/DVD and it says rom1 not found, rom2 not found and erom not found, then comes up with a window asking me for where the iso is. I think I'm just going to create an iso of the game im trying to play (Burnout: Revenge; not sure if it's on the playable list or not but im trying it anyways!) and try that. Seems easier imo i guess.

Burnout Revenge is not playable at all(USA version is only Intro on 0.9.5 and for EU version there's no info from a long time). And btw did you select and configure P.E.Op.S CDVD or EFP polling CDVD or the other disk plugins or you still use CDVD null?

LOL Figured out burnout revenge didn't work pretty fast. But for the other thing I have no idea. It's now set on Linuzappz Iso CDVD 0.7.0. I don't know if that was what it was set on before though. I never changed it.

EDIT: LOL I make ISO's of all my games and hardly any of them play. It's cool to see NFSU2 at least made it to the title screen though.
