i just tested a lot of games, ffx is working almost perfect and 99% at full speed, sadly that is the only one

mgs3, crash just when i control snake for firts time, must press l1+circle in menu to start new game

gt4, must select 0 brightness to view the races, slow 40fps

tekken5, slow and black lines 40-50fps

shadow of the colossus (looks awesome) but very slow, really looks amazing, i mean really

and many more...

more testing

god of war, slow and everything is green

ffx-2 oh noes out of memory error????

soul calibur 3, slow, black lines

dead or alive 2, crash

rumble roses, slow

bloody roar 4? slow

kingdom hearts
1:runs perfect 60fps until you fight the big blck bad guy in the beggining, crash
2:runs perfect 60fps, looks amazing, not played much

ico: runs perfect, but only in pal mode, ntsc not working for me, so 50fps steady

maurocds i don't think you should be getting so much crashes.
make sure you're using a gsdx version that is compatible with your CPU, also i noticed some intel gpu drivers have problems with gsdx in dx10 mode, so might want to try dx9 mode if thats the case.

the tekken 5 black lines can be fixed by using native-resolution in gsdx, or by using certain values for internal resolution (i don't remember which ones work).

gow everything being green? that sounds like your using a very-old version of gsdx/pcsx2 since that is a 2+ year old problem thats been fixed.
or maybe you're using a version of GoW that gsdx doesn't recognize (i think it has a hackfix for gow based on the game's CRC).

slowness in games can be helped by using speedhacks if you're not using them already. pcsx2 by default uses very compatible settings but is pretty slow.

Done as you said, but is this issue (see pic) meant to be there or am I missing a setting that needs looking at?

Or do I need top be patient for a newer build that will have this issue resolved?
thats probably a gsdx issue.
try using native resolution and see if it fixes the problem.
if that doesn't fix it try using software rendering which will likely fix it but will be slow.

Native res did nothing to fix it, but software rendering did and it looks perfect now but as you said it runs very slow (about 1/5 of the speed it should).

Hopefully the game will run better with hardware rendering in the future.

I just am gonna have to be patient by the looks of things

thanks, but i am using latest everything, dx11 sse2,

tested again mgs3, it worked fine full speed in jungle, but controls barely works, must press r1 to get things done

ff12, worked beautiful and 60fps steady,

-----

i am really impressed on how the games look at 1440*900, those games really look nice at that res, and without using AA

GT4 runs good, but a little slow compared to 0.9.7beta with the same settings (in the beta runs about 50-60 fps, in this one runs about 40-50), btw im getting some crashes in GT4, im using gsdx DX10, set the 480p setting in game, others games runs great, kingdom hears 1 & 2, persona 3 fes, DBZ BT3...

You could try playing with the skipdraw hacks (guide says how to turn these on). There is a good chance there will be a skipdraw available to disable the effect causing that lovely screen full of crap ;p

Nice release, I am very thankfull for what the developers of PCSX2 are doing.

I would like to ask if theres any update on mip-mapping (to reduce Ratchet&Clank far away area distortion).?

Seems there haven´t been a lot of love for the R&C series for a long time :p

Finished 2 and 3 already on PCSX2 though not the first part, which Ill do once the game got rid of the graphic buggs^^

put GSDX in software mode and hey presto :p

im afraid i cant say if hardware mode will have mip map support any time soon.

Wow nice! Now I will actually get around to playing P4!

Big thanks to the devs, a lot of hardwork has gone into this emulator and the progress is brilliant:)
