If you are having no audio, have you tried running off the CD to ensure you have XA audio running off the game?
Thanks for responding I have audio but when I play a game there is no music. When I played street fighter alpha and street fighter the movie in the arcade there was music playing when I was playing the game I am not running off of a cd I am playing street fighter alpha and street fighter the movie off of a rom I am using Roms to play the games. I tested out another playstation 1 emulator and the audio and sound works when playing the street fighter games on this emulator the audio works but no music when playing the games. any other ideas fireblaster_lyz

You are avoiding my question. I'll just tell you the solution to help you. Make sure you click on the *.cue file whenever you Run ISO.
when I extracted the rar file there was a bin and a cue I tried the bin file it works just fine I also tried the .cue file which is basicly the same they both boot up and run on the emulator I am used to the arcade version of street fighter I am used to listening to the sound of the game when playing it. On the playstation 1 emulator there is no music when playing the game its really weird on street fighter alpha the arcade version when selecting your fighter there is music playing. On the playstation emulator there is no music when selecting your fighter is it supposed to be that way. another thing is when playing the game street fighter alpha 1 you just here sound effects and there is no music. I know emulation very well I have many roms and emulators I do know what I am doing to me I just think it might be the game its self. I have been doing emulation stuff since 1997 I am very smart check it out your self if you feel like it try the arcade version then try the playstation 1 version then you would know what I am trying to tell you. Thank You for your time but please check it out. try it on M.A.M.E. then PS1 thank you buddy :) please do not be angry ok my friend.

You may want to the read the rules of the Forums before you start posting. Piracy is not allowed to be discussed. The best thing would be to rip your own CD images from your original disks. That should alleviate most of your issues.

Thank you for getting back to me I did read the post and I may have missed that by mistake and before I posted my problem I was having with the sound I looked to see if someone else has posted it and I did not see anything. But all I can do is try but hey man thank you for helping me out and taking the time to talk to me maybe I will see you or talk to you in the future its a small world and you never know :) Again Thank You Have A Nice Day And A Nice Night God Bless.

Hey Adam Tackett

Those Street Fighter games got CDDA files. If you are not hearing the music is because that you are using the Eternal SPU pluging or PEops SPU audio plugs.
If your original riped games are completed armed isos; You got to mount them inside on a Virtual Memory. Acquire Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools for the mounting. And the music will start appear at your gaming wise.

WARNING: The music will not loop.

You can take another sound plugin like the internal ePSXe SPU Core; is the only one that it will make the day for you. And the music will looping as it's normal wise.

I've invested 2€ to get a Streetfighter CD from Secondhandshop.
Today in the Morning i have made an Image.
It works perfect with "RunISO" and the ePSXe SPU Core.

The only what i can think you have made a mistake while producing the image.
Can you pleace post what files with the Name of your Streetfigterimage are in your Imagepath.
(How many Binfiles, how many cue, how many ape)

thank you for your time. Have A Nice Day And Night God Bless

// street fighter alpha no music
Just for reference, I had this problem and solved it.

Make sure you have complete rom
Use mooby cdr plugin
Put some CDDA volume in settings
I used following options - repeat all tracks, read subchannel data
Go File->Run CDRom, choose your rom file (I have IMG + CCD file)

Eternal can play CDR just fine.
