Hello everyone,

I just started having some fun with No$GBA and I thought I'd post a quick button configuration guide useful for those players who plan on using a Xbox 360 Controller with No$GBA as I do. If you got a Xbox 360 Controller lying around I suggest you connect it to your PC and give it a try with No$GBA!

If you'd like to setup your Xbox 360 Controller to mimic the button layout of a NDS then change the No$GBA Joysticks/Gamepads settings in Options -> Controls Setup (F11) to match the screenshot below.

For those of you who'd rather customize a button layout to your liking, use the following image I created as your guide. It shows the positions of No$GBA's Joystick/Gamepad numbers on a Xbox 360 Controller.

its not working for me why?

I assume you mean that you cannot get your Xbox 360 controller to work with No$GBA or you are playing a NDS game that's incompatible with the NDS's gamepad. Some games only take functionality of the NDS's touch screen feature.

This thread is meant for players who already have a working/connected Xbox 360 controller and would like to know how to configure the controllers buttons with No$GBA.

If you are indeed having problems connecting your Xbox 360 controller to Windows/No$GBA I suggest you continue your search elsewhere. If you're having problems with your controllers button configurations you can always try Xpadder.

Man this thread is pretty old. Glad to see some people still finding it useful. :lol:
