There's nothing wrong with your latest list. SLI shouldn't matter for you anyways, the motherboard you chose only has 1 PCI-E slot. If you want SLI, you're going to need either the latest Nvidia chipset board and run Hybrid SLI with one video card or get a SLI supported motherboard and two video cards.

In short, a crap load more money for minimal value gain in terms of performance.

The rated watts of a PSU doesn't necessarily determine the stability of voltages :p. RAIDMAX isn't the most popular, but it should be all right for modest overclocking. You might want to get a PC Power & Cooling or Corsair 620W, their railings are most stable.

Oh and don't worry, everything will fit in that case. The 9600GT is a single slot cooler and it's pretty darn small in comparisons with other GPUs. I know, because I installed one for a friend in a tiny IBM tower and it fit ;)

lol, oh yes, the Palit one :p I don't know why Palit likes to waste so much material, even their boxes are ridiculously big.

And like I said before, RAIDMAX isn't usually a brand avid overclockers go for when choosing a quality PSU, so I can't exactly say if it'll be all right or not. Instead of risking it, why not just spend the extra few dollars on a brand thats been beaten and beaten again by extreme overclockers?
