You'll need to play this on your Gamecube, it does not work in Dolphin from what I've heard.

I wouldn't expect it to be working anytime soon because of TLB. Without TLB emulation some games won't work and will simply crash when a game calls for this instruction.

Dolphin developers already said that implementing TLB will drastically affect speed in Dolphin, severely slowing the speed of the emulator.

Since they don't seem to be too interested in TLB emulation because of these reasons, the only way to play it is on your Gamecube.

Well, they should because there are several games in TLB.. I know it will be slow down but still they should and see what's happening.. You never know. :)

Personally if TLB was implemented in some form with a way to enable/disable it, that would be greatly appreciated as some games rely on TLB to work, or the game crashes when this instruction/feature is called on in a game.

Even if it does potentially slow down the emulator, I would rather see accurate emulation than speedy emulation.

Any way, good job on managing to get this working. :)

I think small, focused hacks that are guaranteed to only affect one game are OK, as a stopgap solution until we do MMU/TLB for real for example in this case. The MGS hack will be cleaned up and added to Dolphin soon, so we can all see if it really is playable :)

Not in this thread, no ;)

It's gfx plugin related, but unlike the TLB hack, it can't be done quick and dirty..

There's nothing wrong with them if you use a Nvidia card.
i have a 8600gt and still get the translucent characters. that is happening to everybody AFAIK.

your wrong, see thru character bug with OGL is still there with ati or nivdia,DX9 is to slow but characters appear, there no shadows tho

I really think the see thru bug is something to do with soft shadows on the character models

Zero runs really slow, REmake isnt to bad apart from the gfx bug i said

Really these games should be on top of the playable game list, there classics

Not saying that you are wrong, But I'm going to double check when i get home. I'm certain RE OGL worked properly on my 8600.
