I'm using an Xbox 360 controller (since I horribly suck with a keyboard) to play my games, and usually I set the shoulder buttons to be save state and load state. I'm one of those people that sit about 10 feet away from their computer and spam save states, and so I was wondering if it was possible to make a script or plugin or maybe even include it in the next version of VBA that has save state mapping onto a controller in VBA. It would be perfect if this was possible, because right now leaning down to press the space bar is annoying the crap out of me.

Google and download the last free version of Xpadder v5.3 and use that to map commands to you controller, you can even make it cycle the states so the first time you press a button is saves in the first state, then you press again and it saves in the second state. Works perfectly with my Logiteck gamepad.
