Just like the title sais, I've got alot of problems trying to get pcsx2 to run - and UI have no idea how to fix any of them X.x
this is a video of the program/plugins/error message
- I made a mistake on the sound plugin X.x... - this is what happens without the mistake
-I also forgot to show the mem cards X.x... ive gotten the mem cards to work before and format(even though the screen was very slow/shaky) but right after I decided to record it I couldnt get it to work anymore X.x - video

#1 - The physical memory(attached screenshot)
It sais I don't have enough physical memory, but it looks like I have plenty, and I've closed about everything I can without crashing the computer.

#2 - Cpu config
I can't pick how many frames to limit it to

#3 - Graphics config
I can't select above pixel shader 2(Nvidia GeForce 8400)
I can't click on half of the options at the bottom

I used the noob guide - link

*just so you can see what the system specs are*

#1 Try right clicking on pcsx2.exe and running as admin, or turn UAC off in control panels.

#2 In the CPU options?

#3 Not to sure about.

2) Custom Frame Limiter option is only available in the PCSX2 beta.

3) Goto nVidia.com and download the latest graphics card drivers for your card.

I got the newest drivers - they didn't fix the graphics problem, but for some reason the physical memory problem is fixed X.x (even though im using more now than I was before)

so #1 and #2 are fixed - but still stuck on #3(and getting the emulator to... emulate X.x)

8400GS with 1.5GB of Video RAM. That tells me you dont have a video card so to speak but an onboard chipset thats just using your RAM to cache textures and such...

How have actual pc games and other emulators been running?

are you using DirectX10 mode with GSdx?

if so, it automatically uses PS 4.0

TLIXX - Where can I update it?

PCXL - Fan - everything else works fine - as well as things can work on vista at least X.x

cottonvibes - I have no idea

also - I noticed if I switch to any of the direct9's - nothings grayed out anymore
but the Nvidia site says this graphics card should support dx10

thats what i'm talking about! :p

directx10 automatically uses PS 4.0 so it greys the box out.

its not a bug, just don't worry about it.

directX9 only supports PS 2.0 and PS 3.0
so you can select them from the boxes.

hope that helps :p

cottonvibes - yeah I understand what your saying, but im saying the other boxes arn't grayed out anymore either - the check boxes at the bottom

edit - video - It looks like if I switch to x9 and then back to x10 I can put the settings in - and they stay there

*the backround noise is my fan - if theres anyway to record sound just inside the comp let me know X.x* - after this I realized that even though the compatibility said you could get ingame in God of war, it also said they dont include any graphics/slow/sound problems - so I ripped and tried Final fantasy X(because I know there would be riots if it didn't work perfectly) - that game seems to work fine on directx9 and x10(I didn't go past the opening cutscene) - so I think it works now(still weird that about the directx10 boxes though)

CDVD=CDVDnull.dll

Are you sure this is the CDVD plugin you are using? You shouldn't be able to play ANYTHING with this.

Remember: P.E.Op.S. for discs, Linuzappz otherwise.

I was using Linuzappz X.x...

also - before the thread dies - I can't get my ps2 controller configured right - I'm using this controller converter, which works great~ even though it doesn't say its Vista compatible on the website, it does on the box (just look reaaaally close at the last picture). I know all the controls work, because iv configured it on epsxe and snes. Also - it works fine in the controller test on vista.

I can get everything set except for the directional keys(left, right, up, down, and both analogs)

Its not the direction keys on the controller, I can't set them to any of the controller keys(even if I'm use a gamecube controller) - and I tested to make sure everything still works - they can be set to the keyboard just fine

heres the pictures of the config(lilypad plugin)

And before anyone asks - yes it is plugged in X.x
