I find Trillian basic to be a very useful for my instant messaging needs.

It can handle AIM, ICQ, Yahoo and MSN.

Yes. I am using Windows 98. ANd I'm not proud of it. I cannot play my "Elder's Scroll 4: Oblivion" on it! I want to crush! Destroy! Obliterate! And smash my computer! Why does it require Xp? WHY! WHY! WHY!

Age Of Empires 3 works flawlessly on windows2000, but it will absolutely refuse to install.

Just like my Oblivion! WHHHAAAAA

Yeah, it requires A LOT of hardcore system requirments! I was shocked to see what it wanted on the bottem of the box. And between yo and me, I bought the game without knowing it wanted XP. How stupid of me, huh

 

Well XP has been around for a few years now and since the game is DX9 based it would seem to be be common sense for the developers that only Windows XP would run it a Win98 doesn't have DX9. I guess they didn't take into account the minority of people who still have Windows9x.

Actually, it's about 50ft sexy muscular animals that cause people to have bursts of hormone juicies to fly everywhere. Rampaging is just a hobby, lol. If the juice is still on you and is still warm, its a delectible treat.

Guessing it's bought pre-assembled, if it came with 98, it's at about 8 years old... outdated! Never suppose a computer is fast if you didn't build it yourself the day you say it, cause usually comps like this are outdated right out of the box

How can someone build there own computer? Do you start from scratch?

 

You buy the parts you need, plug them together, and tada!!!
Easier said than done of course, you must 1st have the computer knowledge
required to do that even befire buying parts, since one's not always compatible with another

Damit! I hate learning about difficult subjcts! Why can't anything be easy with computers? It would take me years to lern how to fully understand computer technology :drool:

I understood how my PC worked the 1st time I opened it. It was only few days after I got it and I was a total noob. Things aren't that hard to understand if you use logic.

You can guess basic stuff, like which card is the graphic one, but checking where the monitor (your display thingy) is plugged. Same goes for sound cards, network, etc (though now many of these devices are already integrated within the motherboard)
