How to use ePSXe with Gameshark codes?

hey guys, my cousin just gave me his Vanguard Bandits, a PS1 game, I don't have my PS1 with me anymore, so I decided to play it with my ePSXe, but I wanna cheat so badly, there isn't any Vanguard Bandits cheats in the PEC (PSX Emulation Cheater) so I'm wondering if there's any way we can add gameshark codes into the ePSXe? OR a way to add Vanguard Bandits + its codes into the PEC?

im having problems adding gameshark codes to the pec codelist. it already opens as a notepad file idk if that matters or not. im trying to add gameshark codes for final fantasy origins, im doing it like you show with no spaces, but the codes just wont work.
