Well, graphics, sound and user interface were nice, and the idea was great, but the outcome was extremely dull. Why dull? Well, all planets were the exact copy of each other, except for the visual background, the story was too typical, gameplay got repetitive in, uhm, 20 minutes, all the missions were variants of "Go to place X and destroy Y", the characters lacked any kind of personality or style, there was a limited number of weapon classes, and a large etc :eek:

And yeah, Homeworld was real hard, IMO a good change from the vast majority of games nowadays :)
