There is a copy floating around on the net right now (which I also have), looks very pretty; only thing I don't like is no co-op mission play, a major downer for me and I'm not gonna buy the game.

Co-op is just more fun, having like 10 ppls driving warthogs through stages... what bliss...

Pro:
-Mouse+KB will be liked by FPS'ers who liked xBox Halo but not a gamepad
-Adjustable resolution (looks nice in 1280x1024)
-Some multiplayer maps are specific for PC, designed to take advantage of a PC

Con:
-No Co-Op, promised in a later mod/patch
-Brutal on system resources, massive slowdowns on high-end hardware - Plan on using a low res
-No Co-Op
-Does not offer much past what existing PC FPS's offer
-No Co-Op

Halo is almost Quake3, almost UT, almost Tribes, and almost Half-Life. But it doesn't meet or exceed any of these.

oh well, i dont even care. i loved this game on Xbox but my friend-with-xbox moved away. even playing this game solo will be kickass for me. later mods will make it even better (a la half life)

hell yeah dude. there have been crazy times with 4-8 player games with my friends...

i only wish you could play this on LAN with an xbox....when my xbox owning friends come up from college, that would be kickass....

i wonder if they will make something for Xbox to PC connection. they already have one for Tony hawk 4, you can play with PS2 and PC

I've tried it without Pixel Shaders, with PS1.1, and PS2.0, without PS, it looks like ****, and with 1.1 and 2.0 it looks almost exactly the same except PS2.0 is as slow as my grandma, tells me that, finally, thz whole fuss about PS2.0 on nVidia cards is kinda useless, since PS2.0 brings only a minimal quality increase, for quite a huge speed loss.

To get the fps to show in game:
1) Add -console at the end of the target line in the properties of the shortcut.
2) In game press ~ and type rasterizer_fps true.
3) Press ctrl+F12 to show a graph of your fps.
