everytime i tried to play a mkv video in that resolution, the video goes into super slow motion motion.. anybody knows what's wrong?

after much intense investigatiion, i realized the resolution is not the problem.. but the video im playing is still moving at slow motion.. hm.. i wonder what's wrong..

ATI supports full acceleration of h.264 video.

Something is wrong with your installed codecs and/or your media player.

Which h.264 codec is installed? Which media player are you using? Is Haali Media Splitter installed on your system?

In Media Player Classic: Home Cinema:

View > Options > Internal Filters

Under "Source Filters", make sure "Matroska" is checked. Under "Transform Filters", make sure "H264/AVC (DXVA)" is checked to enable hardware acceleration for good measure.

sure, where can i find them?

um.. im not sure if all higher resolution worked as i've yet played a video in all resolution.. but 1280x720 resolution worked.

oh btw, the resolution is not the problem (i think), i tried playing a different video with the same resolution (704x400) and that video worked..

huh? really? hm.. i thought i have the newest version as i've just recently downlaoded the newest k-lite codec pack.. maybe i should go check..

well i cant really say im happy with VLC, if possible i would like to use just one media player for all my video files.. i guess you can say that VLC is just a "pelampung", for when MPC doesnt work.

nope, didnt worked, i think those options is not available for my graphics card.
