Feel free to update the xls and upload to the forum with more games. I will try to continue to add games in my spare time. Make sure to sort A-Z and only use the GSdx9 plugin (or the upcoming combined GSdx 9/10 plugin).

OK. I've added 9 games, made list nicer (as for me).

Ofcourse.:)

It would be nice, but the list would never be looked at. Once I take the db off site there won't be any traffic, and my efforts wasted. With the database on the forums, people look at the list and update it, like Dragonheart.by, to help other people.:)

FFXII works almost flawlessly with beta PCSX2 + GSDX9 0.11.4.

There's a few visual glitches here and there, but other than that it works great.

I'll update the list later (another day) once I get back Bully + various Burnout games. I think I got my MGS3 dvd too, I'll try and look for it. If I do a iso today I'll update the list with FFXII + MGS3.

MGS3 is almost perfect on the GSdx9/10 side of things the only problem is PCSX2 itself isn't able to properly emulate the game because of VU/x86 accuracy differences among other things.

I'd like to add to your list the titles I tested - but would like some guidelines. Here are two specific questions / examples. If you could answer both - it should give me enough to start adding:

1. ATV Offroad Fury 4 loads menus and goes into the game. Everything renders properly and the game can be played. However, I get around 10 fps in menus and around 3 fps in-game. Obviously - I have not played the game all the way though. I have not even played it more than 5 minutes because to me it's not usable. Does this define a game that's 'playable'? Or is it more like 'in-game'? Or should it be a new category - something like 'playable in 2 or 3 years perhaps when we all have 8-core processors and 4 more generations of video hardware'?

2. Dora the Explorer: Journey to the Purple Planet shows menus correctly and at full speed. But rendered cut-scenes and in game show terrible rendering artifacts (polys are not covered with textures and z axis is completely screwed up - so geometry of items from background pops in front; again - not covered in textures). Cut scenes and in game is around 60% of full speed and can be played more or less normally (only slow). That is - if you don't mind all the garbage on the screen. Also, physics of the world seem to be confused: when you stand still the whole world keeps slowly moving underneath your character's feet. Again - is this 'playable'? 'In-game'? Or some other classification?

Thank you,
Michael

Good questions. I would say ATV Offroad Fury is in the category playable. If Dora the Explorer: Journey to the Purple Planet has the same amount of garbage as Hot Wheels Maximum Velocity then it's only ingame. (Can't see car or street or any of the structures). See screenshot for more details.

Edit 1: In reply to D'm'W some games become playable with GSdx that can't be played in ZeroGS like need for speed hot pursuit 2. You can actually play the game with GSdx unlike ZeroGS where it has stripes going through the screen. And I believe Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is the same way you cant' play it with ZeroGS but with GSdx you can.

Edit 2: I added another game to the list and added support for the new series of Gabest's plugins.

Just tested Tales of Legendia. Its "playable" in GSdx D3D9/10 sotware rendering, if your willing to play at 6fps.

In hardware rendering mode it's merely ingame. YOu can watch the FMV and you can get as far as the initial menu. Clicking to start a new game will crash the emulator.
