Free MMOs suck. All lame jRPG eye candy, no content.
Guild Wars 2 will tear off that game's head and **** down it's neck.

 

I agree when it comes to the majority at least until now, but Tera (which is done by the the former lineage 2 team) and Mabinogi Heroes look like something that will offer despite being free the trailer is promising you gotta admit there's more to it than just eyecandy.

And not all free MMO's suck Archlord, Air Rivals (aka ACE online) & Exsteel where quite nice.

Hrm, looks easy and some sounds are annoying, still in alpha though. I enjoyed ffxi quite a bit, played it for many years; maybe I just got lucky and was able to get things done and get into a good linkshell. Played Wow for about 3 months a few years ago.. maxed out my character, got bored then quit.

Guild Wars 2... gave up on that years ago, hopefully they put out something decent if it ever comes out at all.

I've given most of the free ones out a quick try.. nothing I've tried has been very good for long..

I have no idea how that related to what he quoted anyways.. :lol: The style isn't like those other games to begin with.

That GW2 video does look interesting though, I wonder if there would still be the heroes/merc system, looks like it would be a bit hard with that camera style and large spell effects.

 

How is Guild Wars? Will it get abandoned when Guild Wars 2 is released? I've occasionally seen it for ~$10 for the GotY edition and was curious about it! oO

 

Even if they did, GW2 release is still TBA 2011. So $10 for even that isn't so bad if your actually interested in trying it. It was fun, I used to play it a lot.

Yeah I figured as much, and I agree with you too. Hence my citing pre-FFX installments to the series even when the occasion doesn't really call for it. :lol:

All free mmos do not ****ing suck, "MOST free mmorpgs suck" would be a much more accurate statement.

Like i said did you play Exsteel or Ace online before making that statement ? true they might not be your cup but there excellent games.
