there are patches for that game that allow opengl.. makes everything look WAY more sharp.. search em on google

just download legacy doom and put in in your doom dir.. then launch legacy ..

look up and ull see i put a site.. go there download the win32 legacy doom, put it in your doom2 dir, then launch launcher.exe .. it adds direct sound 3d as well as opengl,, many other features too :D give it a try:)

i just downloaded doom2 shareware WAD and loaded it up with legacy and it looked great :)

wow, the graphic jump between doom 2 and doom 3 is amazing.

they shouldn't have called doom 3 doom 3.. because final doom was truly doom 3.. may cause confusion
