This new version includes graphic enhancements and fixes:

* added support for window, transparency and brightness
* fixed sprites and background rendering bugs
* added possibility to resize and rotate emulation windows

A new interface based on glade is now available and support for gzipped and zipped roms has been added.
Download

Enjoy and report bugs so we can fix them :)

Any chances of the program being skinnable in the future? It's not important (especially right now since getting games to work is a priority) but it would definitely be cool to have a simulated DS around the windows. Just a thought. Anyways, great emulator, I'll be keeping an eye on this one. :)

It would be cool. I would love to see real nintendo ds skin on this emulator. It will be neat! :D

Gotta third the DS skin it would be awesome, I have only seen one other emulator actually do that and it was a GBC emulator from way back...sorry I forgot the name, but it made it my favourite at the time.

It was probably the VBA. That was the only GB emulator that I knew of that was skinnable. I had lots of fun skinning it, the only thing that I hated was that it didn't have support for alpha-channels so the edges would be rough and that made it look bad.

Nope this was before VBA, I forgot it's name but it had a purple GBC all around it, it's not that it was skinnable, it came like that standard when downloaded.

yo... shash.. can i ask the the emulator compatibility specs.. what pc hardware that it can apply more speed?
The faster you can get: keep in mind that most of our current focus on DeSmuME is comptability and getting all the features of the DS emulated, not speed.

Dual Core maybe ?
Right now, dual core has no benefits in DeSmuME.

Not until 3d emulation is implemented.
Please use the search next time, this question has been done dozen of times.

Don't bother because many people will not use the search at all. That's sad. :(

gud day shash teams when the next version or wip will be release and what will be the development of the next version...gud bless guys
The next release will be out when it's done, and that can be days, months or years. I don't know what will be implemented, the desmume team coders doesn't have a list: everyone focuses on what he prefers.
