There are also other good games on the PSP, too. Just take a look around.
By the way... FF9 was indeed not ported to the PC... and FF8 and FF7 would only be good for specific computers with appropriate hardwares. I know this because I've tried both of them on two different computers... one is a Celeron 500Mhz with everything else onboard and one is the one in my siggy... results? The Celeron 500Mhz was the dream machine for the games.

Strange? My 500Mhz Celeron worked too perfect for the game that it made me stare at how my Cel 4.80Ghz was running the same game. To be quite honest, I didn't even need a single patch for FF7 or FF8 when I played the games on my 500Mhz Cel. Just needed to install the game and... off we go! The music sounded better than the PS1 version, too... and I still can't re-create that audio experience with any of the new sound cards I have... even the recently bought Creative X-Fi. :/

And Square-Enix just didn't learn that the original FF7 was the good idea... not EVERYTHING that has FF7 in the name or on the surface. :/ I really hope this one won't drag the game's reputation any lower...

Remake it, and extend it with a story as to how they got rid of shin-ra. And perhaps make what exactly happens during the last battles more clear (what exactly is safer/bizzare sephiroth and where the hell did those come from?),

During the last battles, Cloud tried to beat the Sephiroth inside his mind and succeeded... for the time being. (He then keeps on chasing the shadow of Sephiroth inside him down... in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2.) As for Shinra, since the headquarter was destroyed, most of the leaders were expelled/retired/killed, it could be that the whole corporation was reduced to a very small corporation. (All thanks to Cloud's party's efforts!) Safer and Bizzare Sephiroth just comes from the Jenova cells that Sephiroth planted in the Life Stream.[/QUOTE]

I think that if they were to expand the story beyond that point, it would be reasonable for them to go and actually get rid of the Ancient Weapons all around the world as part of the actual story-line... since in Advent Children, they exist no more. (Or at least they were nowhere to be found)
