Also on 12.1 and they're fine (before that, 11,11c), but then again I dont generally have issues with the drivers (only update for game performance).

In regard to Youtube and BSOD : What I can tell you is that if I overclock my card past what the driver allows, it will crash the driver. If I try to play the video a second time after the crash, it's an automatic BSOD.
Overclocking by a small amount (what the driver) allows is fine, even if done with a 3rd party tool.

Hopefully this helps you in some way with your BSODs. Take a look at your clocks when on youtube, it locks them for me at a different speed than when idle, or gaming. (150 idle, 700 gaming, 399 youtube)
