SOLVED: The crashes have been occurring due to a conflict between PlayStation emulation and TeamViewer's Quick Connect button (the little bidirectional arrow beside the minimize, window and close buttons) so toggling it off did the trick!
I have spent the past few days letting Windows Update bring my rig back up to date, with ePSXe only working on ONE boot-session; now it won't launch game files or even the BIOS menu. I have tried both ePSXe and PCSX Reloaded, put zlib.dll in the install directory, tried software plugins, the whole shebang and for nothing.
Anyone experiencing this as well? Any fixes? All the ones I've tried so far haven't changed anything either. (running as admin, compatibility mode, etc.)
