the matrix reloaded all hail the power of the matrix!!! this movie is without a doubt the best one of the trilogy..part 3 sucked to me..

yes first one is best!!
second one disapointing thirth one to !! kinda cheap story at end. And neo vs smith... Its not dragonball Z ffs.

The first was the best. The second was alright, but the third one destroyed everything 2 set up IMO, and as it wasn't really a film that stands well on its own....

Exactly. I felt like Matrix 2 and 3 were one of the same movie. I know they were filmed it together but they should have made them to stand for its own (Did i wrote it correctly?).

You gotta admit the effects looked really good, still it looked like dbz. If there is a new superman movie it will have to have atleast that kind of effect in order to look good.

did anyone of yall know that one of the wachakosk's or whatever their name is..favorite things....is....ANIME so course its gonna have that kinda feel to..

i really enjoyed the fight scene in part 3.. i would have enjoyed it more if neo thru out energy beams or kamehame's or spirit bomb or something..

and please the ones who judge dragonball have no right to.. as they only seen the kiddified crap that's DUBBED that comes on cartoon network...

The first was the first and thew best as it surprised me in every way.
The secuel(I mean the 2nd and the 3rd as one movie) is just complementary. All about the secuel is contained in the 1st though.
The climax of the plot would be when Neo reaches the Architect.

The first was the best, mostly because the second and third didn't carry on story-wise. Period. End of discussion. I don't care what you say or think. The ending of Revolutions just plain SUCKED. Not to mention its hopeless predictability.....

Revolutions was so predictable that I could guess most of the dialogues before the characters spoke. I was almost amazed at my ability - but I quickly realized that the movie was so full of cliches that I could not help it :)

The first is THE best Matrix movie hands-down. As Kane previously said, the third flick did in fact, destroy everything Reloaded set up. I liked Revolutions at first, but after the fanboy-ism wore off of me, I realized how dissappointing it actually was. Reloaded was decent except for the overly CG "Burly Brawl" and all the superman flying crap, which really hindered the movie.

I will be honest, I enjoyed the first movie the most out of all of them.

...but, I love Reloaded and Revolution. Although, I didn't have the closure I expected....but, I watched Revolutions a couple more times (and got a copy at home), and it was good.

It all went downhil from the first. The second wasn't a complete letdown because of the incredible highway scene and because of the fact that it would be possible to make things better in the third, however...

The third was terrible, *really* bad. IMHO, the Wachowski brothers (or whoever holds the rights to the movie and idea) made The Matrix a franchise, releasing a game, The Animatrix (which tops both the 2nd and 3rd episode), etc., basically selling it just like Lucas did with Episode 1. I only saw greed instead of quality.

Well, IMO the only reason why Reloaded and Revolutions "sucked" is because they failed to live up to people's expectations of the series. I think a lot of people had this grand vision of the Matrix (all those matrix in a matrix theories and such). Remember that movies like the Matrix are catered for the general public and they have to create a movie that most people would be able to understand and appreciate. The last thing they want to do is confuse people. I do agree that the first was the best, but only because it introduced most of the concepts and effects. With Matrix 2 and 3 I can't really think they could have done anything that different with them. Personally I'm not a big fan of the happy ending and closure but that's what most people want and that's what Revolutions delivered. I don't know if they broke the original concept of the Matrix or not but I think they did alright considering the time restraints (2 movies, about 3 hours) and target audience.

Yeah, you're right. Revolutions and Reloaded were very good to people without a clue about anything related to science - i.e. the masses. To me the movies were just a lot of rubish.

The fact is that the "Brothers" sold out. They Reloaded and Revolution were just more artifacts of pop culture. Nothing more, nothing less.

Without a doubt, the first Matrix movie was the best. However, Reloaded proved to be a great setup movie and part of the enjoyment I derived from watching Reloaded was figuring what the hell was going to happen. It's too bad that Revolutions failed to capitalize on Reloaded's themes and plot twists... Revolutions was so uninspiring that I lost my faith in the whole series.

wah? they left many questions at the end of reloaded only for half of them to be totally disregarded or stupified in revolutions...i could have gone from the first to the 3rd film and still would have had the jist of whats going on...reloaded was horribly incorperated...

1st owned all...peace out...'nuf said

EDIT: the reason i hated reloaded and thought revolutions was "alright" was that they turned a perfectly good SCI-FI film into an action film...if your going for action i guess its alright but personally the first one was a masterpiece in my book, concentrating more on plot than action, but still adding action in there at the right times...the last 2 are just pathetic excuses to blow stuff up while attempting to live up to the original...
