Only use the one downloaded here. But no it works fine in Vista and it doesn't open tons of processes so I don't know what may be wrong.

@pivon: I've seen this problem turn up every now and then, but IIRC, there wasn't any satisfying solution.
Make sure both No$GBA and No$Zoomer are set to run as admin, and that your UAC is on.

What was it? Maybe I can post it in the OP.

Martin released debugger versions of No$GBA as actual payware, so distributing it is by all means illegal. Not having seen the link, it could be real, but it would still be against the law (and board regulations) to download it from any other source than the developer. And please, I'd like to keep this thread to No$Zoomer.

Though this is all true, and a old post. I just..had to comment. Because I'm dying here, laughing at the hypocritical backwards nature of it all.

So people are..illegally using software that's made to run illegal products..

I'm aware that these are originally designed to "Play copies of games you own" Which would effectively make it legal... But we all know what it's about.

I'm just amused that people who do things that are illegal constantly, have any issues with people doing illegal stuff.. Must be because it's their stuff, instead of some other persons. :p

Rofl, freaking, copter. XD

Emulation is about the faithful reproduction of one system on another...being able to run the game of the first system is just a nice byproduct. Now that's as far as the actual authors are concerned...as for the users...well their business is their business.

That *is* the latest version.
You just need to read the guide on the first page, that's all:
Should the menu bar only contain kanji (japanese letters) or empty
boxes, open the second menu from the right, then the third option
from the bottom. Here, you can set your language, preferably to
English (Squall Leonhart).
Setting it to "English (Squall Leonhart)" will also enable the Extras.

i downloaded it and it has ex4 but when i click on it, it changes to ex0. can someone tell me how to fix this cause in harvest moon island of happiess this is the only way to fix the no button text thing.

-.-
It's written in the OP TWICE. I have it UNDERLINED. What should I do, use rainbow letters?
*sigh*
Sorry. Soooo, you are most likely using No$GBA 2.6, if your EXs stay stuck. Unfortunately, 2.6a has never been declared freeware and the PayPal link on the official homepage has been down for years, so there's no legal way to get it.

First time poster. Total noob. Just wanted to play these Pokemon games for nostalgic reasons, so I dl'd them. Got a rom, patched it, dl'd No Zoomer. Followed the instructions but NO Zoomer won't even open. I just see the loading cursor. Using windows 7, any help is much appreciated.

I don't think this has been discussed yet.. I'm playing Golden Sun Dark Dawn on NO$Zoomer and the game works fine. I just have one problem: I can't seem to save the game. I've tried saving in game than using the ''Save battery file'' option and nothing. I've checked all my NO$ folders such as '''BATTERY'' and ''SAVESLOT'' and there are no save (or ''sav.'') files. Is there a way to just save the game and pick up where I last left off? The game DOES NOT crash btw, ever. I just can't save.

You misunderstood what the "Save battery file" option is. You need to save the game using the in-game save function.

no$gba will dump the actual save file (.sav file) to your no$gba's battery folder when you close the emu, load another game, or reload (not reset) your current game. The "Save battery file" option is simply use to force no$gba to dump the actual save file without you having to do any of the extra steps I just mentioned.

Create an own thread or search for one. I want to keep this thread clean of any game-specific questions. For your own good, too. You'll never find this post again once you forget it was posted in THIS thread.
Also, see this.

Fantastic post. Sure will give No$Zoomer a try

In No$Zoomer.ini, if you write the whole path, including filename (eg. C:\Windows\Cursors\pen_r.cur) after the entry "CursorPath=", then your mouse pointer will turn into whatever that file represents whenever you point it onto the lower screen.
