hello: i got this little doubt, is not really a problem, i just want to know. when i start epsxe with no cd-rom in, i get the normal playstation bootscreen, but, in the second one, the one with a black background, i can read 'playstation' but i don't see the normal PS logo (the one in red and green if i can remember)

is this any gpu problem, a bug or just an useless thing?

thanks to anyone who can answer me :)

ps: i am using pete's opengl graphic plugin

Yes, it can be done in ePSXe 1.5.0! All you need to do is use the -slowboot flag. if that doesn't work. Use -slowboot WITH -nogui. Then you will get it! But I haven't had any luck getting it to work with a game that requires accurate cdromtiming (eg. Gran Turismo 2. :(

Anyways, I hope that works for you. :)

Ok that works. Missed that .

ya, when I first got epsxe 1.5.0, it didn't work with just -nogui. but luckily I read the readme under where all the command lines are and I found it, so i tried differen't way to get to work and using -slowboot with -nogui worked for me. :)

Now I know that the readme isn't useless. :D

hi, sorry, i think i was not clear with my question, i mean, i get that screen, i know that, but, i dont get the PS logo

perhaps it's a stupid question cause it's useless to get that PS logo, i just wanted to know why i dont get it...

bellow i include a screenshot of what i get, but, in my real playstation, that screen appears with a big PS logo in the middle of the screen, do you understand me now? :)

hi, thanks a lot, now you understand what i mean :D that one is the one i wanted, could you send me one @ 1024x768? well, i tried what u say but i still don't get the PS logo:

if i use -slowboot, i just dont get any of the two boot screens, it goes directly to the game

and if i use -slowboot -nogui, i get the two bootscreens, but the second one (the one i want) i still get it without the PS logo and it hangs there, it just doesn't load the game

and i have put the cd-rom switches as you said

any other idea?

thanks for your help
