Final Fantasy 10 FMV just boost its speed by using ZeroGS KOSMOS at 20 times higher than GSDX9!:guitar: . me fx5200 on gsdx9 was on 2 fps only but zerogs is 20fps. and i've seen kingdom hearts fmv on post your screenshots thread and it run on 90FPS!:emb: . WOWSERS!

yes this is due to gsdx9 not handling direct image transfer correctly, but rather than it being wrong, its just how you handle it with directx as it doesnt support direct image transfer, so you need a ring buffer

its really depends on the movie.

some movies in zerogs i get 30fps, others i get up to 80fps, but gsdx9 is generally on the 7-20fps range.

and thats with a Geforce 7900GTX :)

if your card doesnt support shaders, that means its either a really bad onboard one or its over 6 years old, i think its about time you bought one.

a Geforce 6200 supports up to pixel shader 3 and it only costs $30-50, maybe you should consider getting one?

No way~~ I just bought the board recently. (and you are right, it's an onboard one)

Take an look at this:

http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-014257.htm

My card is 82865g (the fifth one)

Althuogh it doesn't supoort Pixel Shaders, it has Vertex Shaders. :p

.

vertex shaders are no help, intel accelerators (lol what a name) are known to really suck and are only meant to get the system up and running for general use, buy a real graphics card ;)

Well, maybe later. :p

If I still use this one for PCSX2, what should I do?

Stay with GSDX9, or give ZeroGS a try?

.

By the way, the CPU I will get is Intel Celeron, 2.80 GHZ. oh, and I have 512mb ram.

Can I still run PCSX2 with good speed even if I don't have an good card? :)

.

zerogs requires pixel shader version 2, you dont even have version 1 so you dont stand a chance ;)

id stick with gsdx9 if i was you

Pixelshader 2.0 or newer is required to run the plugin. Theese are graphics card that support this feature.

ATI X1*** series
ATI X*** series
ATI 9800/9700/9500/9200 series

Nvidia FX**** series
Nvidia 6*** series
Nvidia 7*** series

All intergrated IGPs are to slow to run this kind of application. So Intel and other like it, is crap.

Nvidia 6*** /7***series and ATI X1*** series has support för smart shader 3.0. Anyone know if there is any perfomance boost using it?
